What is Portfolio Rating?
Portfolio would like to facilitate investment decisions and to this end it has launched a new service, Portfolio Rating. Within this point-based system, we rate specific investments under different categories and indicators on a scale of 1 to 5, where 5 marks the instruments with the best indicators within the given asset category. Portfolio’s rating system was tailored to equities, investments funds and ETFs which users can find inside Portfolio’s Financial Terminal, in a column right next to the name of the instrument. You find more information on Portfolio Rating, its operation and methodology on this page.
What is the Screener?
The Screener is the search interface of Portfolio Terminal where Users can find every instrument that is not shown on the home page. There are two search options in the Screener. In the left-hand fields you can choose between markets and also set specific filters, while on the right side a keyword search will return hits.
Why is there a spot market icon added to searches inside the Screener?
In addition to spot instruments, the Portfolio Terminal also displays a number of futures and other instruments. If you only wish to see spot market data and search results, we recommend ticking the “Spot market” icon in search.
What is the Watchlist?
The Watchlist platform of Portfolio Terminal is a place where you can collect your favourite instruments that you view or search for most frequently with just a few simple steps. We will demonstrate the operation of the Watchlist on its separate page.
Why cannot I save to Watchlist?
Instruments can only be saved to the Watchlist by users who are logged in. The login function is available in the top right corner.
What can I do with the (+) icon seen before the name of the instruments?
By clicking on the ‘+’ icon next to the name of the instrument you will be offered two options. One is to navigate to the Data Sheet of the instrument for more information about it. Two is to add the instrument to the Watchlist. If you choose the latter, the ‘+’ icon will be coloured orange.
Why do I see 'xxx' in the columns?
Users who do not have an active subscription or are not logged in will find grey columns with ‘xxx’ marks at given instruments. In order to have access to all data please log in to your account and/or subscribe to the service. Subscription is available at the
